Emma Farley
Youth Leader STOMP Out Bullying™
Emma Farley is engaging, compassionate, and knows how to lead. She is an eighth-grader in Middle School in New Rochelle, New York. A high honor roll student, she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society as well as a Safe School Ambassador, a role that promotes conflict resolution. In September 2018, she discussed ways to create a positive school environment at the city's Board of Education meeting. Emma was also featured on NBC’s TODAY show in December 2018 where she talked about anti-bullying initiatives and the importance of encouraging students not to judge others.
She has been an active participant in her school’s Model United Nations Club for three years and currently serves as vice president. Her travels for Model UN have taken her to conferences in New York, Boston, and Washington, DC, where she attended a MUN summer program at Georgetown University. In April 2019, she traveled with other students from her school club to the Shawnigan MUN Conference in Vancouver, Canada.
A passionate artist, Emma enjoys working on projects at the art clubs at her school. She was the youngest finalist for the Music Conservatory of Westchester’s “Colors of Music Festival” Contest in 2018. She also runs on the cross country and track teams at her school.
Helping others is important to Emma. She has run 5K races to raise funds for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides research funding and supports survivors and caregivers of those with brain aneurysms.
Emma serves food to the needy at the community kitchen at New York Covenant Church in New Rochelle and has participated in events hosted by Kids Kloset, a non-profit organization that donates clothing to local residents.
In her free time, Emma enjoys drawing, reading, and watching movies. Emma is excited about being a youth teen leader for STOMP Out Bullying.
