JULY 21, 2020

ross-ellis-100-making-a-difference-min.pngCelebrity photographer John Russo and philanthropist and entrepreneur Quinton van der Burgh who heads Generosity Water Africa have collaborated in a celebration of philanthropic individuals and organizations.

The collaboration contains photos of Sir Elton John, George Clooney, Serena Williams, Oprah, Maria Shriver, Malala, Rob Lowe, Eva Longoria, Gus Kenworthy and many others including Quinton van der Burgh and Ross Ellis, founder and CEO of the leading national anti-bullying nonprofit, STOMP Out Bullying.

Quinton van der Burgh says that the book, 100 Making a Differencewill hopefully remind people of how helping humanity should be at the forefront of your daily thoughts and actions.” He points out that many around the world “are in dire situations.”

Russo considers it to be a collection of “amazing human beings who have devoted a large portion of their life to philanthropy. He said he loved hearing the stories and seeing the work they have done. In a world where we are judged on how many followers we have or likes we receive, being around these iconic, selfless human beings was nothing short of amazing. I know I am a different person because of this journey.”

Ross Ellis said “I am grateful and humbled to have been included in this book with such noted do-gooders. We all have a dream and when one continues that dream with passion, purpose and commitment, it is truly possible to accomplish anything.” Having helped over 5 million students resolve bullying situations and having saved over 6,000 lives, I know that continuing my passion was the right road.

This has been a year like no other. Covid has hurt and taken the lives of so many, forcing our youth to face tremendous barriers. Our children’s needs are greater than ever as we work to end the hate and change the culture.

Again, I thank John Russo,  Quinton van der Burgh and all of the 100 Making a Difference. Together we work to create change and help those in need.
